Now as we all know to gain any kind of weight or bulk we need protein and to get as much as we are going to need to do this we probably are going to need to add a protein supplement to our diet, now I have tried many many protein shakes and I have found maybe one that I liked, the rest were simply ok or downright horrible, so grab yourself a smoothie maker or blender and lets make our own. I’m going to give you a few protein shake recipes and then I want you to go and experiment and then come back to me with your creations so I can try them and let you know if you have made the next protein shake that I really like.
I’m a big lover of coffee so this one is a caffeine loaded protein shake designed to give you that kick you might need in the morning to get to the gym
Coffee Shake
- 6oz water
- 8oz of coffee
- 3 ice cubes
- 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder
I hate strawberries but love the taste which I know sounds weird so here is my take on the strawberry and chocolate explosion
Strawberry & Chocolate Explosion
- 8oz water
- 8 strawberries
- 4 ice cubes
- 2-4 scoops of chocolate protein powder
- mix
Have you ever tasted an orange protein shake well your now going to, this one I love strangely perhaps because it is so different to anything else I have tasted.
Orange Fizz
- 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
- 8oz of water
- 4 ice cubes
- Peeled oranges (up to you how many but 1-3 should do it)

I hate berries too but they are full of antioxidants and also if you buy the right ones can make up some delicious protein shake recipes
Berries Delight
- 2 Scoops of vanilla protein powder
- 8oz water
- 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt
- 1 handful of mixed berries
- mix
I am not a fan of honey either and this did not taste good to me but if you like honey you may love this one, plus honey does have lots of benefits for natural health.
Honey Surprise
- 8oz water
- 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
- 4 ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 banana
- mix
So these are just some of the easy protein shake recipes that are available and I would love to show you more but you need to experiment yourself and come up with some new and dynamic ones, how about doing maybe some low calorie protein shake recipes for example there are lots of options and the only limit is your imagination so like I said go and get creative and report back with your amazing protein shake recipes.
